Al Warqa is a fast growing residential area which also includes commercial, public and educational facilities. The target development work was around 65% of the available area.  An extensive area was reserved for a future district park, cycle and jogging track. The project comprised  the design and construction of internal roads network and street lighting of residential communities 421, 422, & 423 (Al Warqa 1, 2, & 3) which extend over an area of 1,154 hectares. The total length of the proposed roads is 125kmThe total length of the existing roads is 36km
